Glasgow University is a great place to study. Aside from being a great academic institution, what really sets Glasgow apart is the opportunities for socialising that come with studying there. There are loads of clubs and societies, there is everything from the Whiskey Society to the skydiving club. The student unions are also really great. There's always a great atmosphere and they put on loads of great events that make being a member really worthwhile. The Student Representative Council and the Sports Association are also really important for looking after the well being of students. Aside from the university itself, Glasgow is just generally a great place to be a student; cheap nights out, a choice of some of the best clubs and gig venues in the UK and friendly and fun people.
