The staff on campus and in the accommodation team are always very helpful and friendly and they take the time to get to know individual students which is nice.

Great opportunities to go on a placement year and we are given lots of information about possible placements all the time. The workload isn’t too massive so is manageable and the lecturers are keen to help students who have missed some of the work.

Very large and spacious rooms with a lot of privacy by having our own en suite. The flats are large with 12 people so that’s good as you always have people to talk to and spend time with.

The university provides many helpful resources for study, and support from professionals about both the course and other aspects such as preparation for the future and careers.

The course provides a great amount of detail during classes. In-person classes are much more effective with short breaks between each lesson. The course could be more effective by taking students on trips which will help us to see how jobs and careers in the subject take place in real-life, and by getting involved in physical activities outside of the classroom will help us understand work-life better.

The campus is only a short bus journey to the city centre, and is located by many local restaurants and shops. There are accommodations within the walking range, both short and long distances, and buses are provided for some accommodations which are further away from campus.

The accommodation is quite pricey, but the overall quality is good. Staff and security are friendly. There are no lifts in any buildings, which can be problematic if someone was to get injured while living above ground floor.
