Pros - - There are tons of study spaces all around campus and you can even reserve out a classroom - Coffee shops and little snack places are everywhere - the student union building houses everything you need from support to getting a quick lunch or getting a cup of coffee, and it’s also a great place to meet new people or to catch up with peers - You’ll be able to meet people from other courses really easily, it’s kind of a shocker sometimes to hear what people are studying - there is a massive range of societies to join - great support system for students - vast range of student accommodation from the university and private Cons - - the city itself is really depressing, it’s easy to get seasonal depression - it’s always cold in the building so sometimes you’ll need to keep your jacket on

Pros - - it’s fun telling people about your course because they had no idea that was an option - most classes are in person but if you have an excuse there are classes online - lecturers respond within an hour - lecturers are passionate about what they teach Cons - - Some courses may clash or fill up so you’ll need to give up that course for something else - for theology courses is mostly looks into abrahamic and Ancient Greek, there are either no or little lecturers that explore outside “mainstream” religion

Pros - - in the heart of the university, only a two minute walk to get to the main part and right next to the library - in walking distance to grocery stores - great deal specifically for this accommodation because of how close it is to the university Cons - - Rooms are really outdated - wifi can sometimes be spotty - kitchens are outdated - tiny bathroom - can hear everything from other side of walls - may or may not be haunted - seagulls

The campus is lovely especially the old parts and has a nice feel to it , with good bus service into the city.

All in person , good number of lectures and tutorials. Nice , supportive staff

Flat is small and we have 2 toilets which is great. As it’s a student village it’s a bit loud at times. For those applying through clearing rooms not spared in nicer accommodations but overall a nice flat very close to campus and good bus routes
