Being a mature student, its a best decision i have ever made. Had no idea about Surface Pattern field. Foundation year played a huge role in deciding what course i want to do. Thoroughly enjoying my course. Looking forward to what we learn in coming years.

Everyone who works there is amazing. The technicians are friendly and very helpful, and my tutors are so nice and teach me so much. The student union is really aware of current events affecting us and tries to help us with cost of living support, how to budget, and things like free sanitary towels at uni which is really nice.

You get tons of contact time with tutors which is the best thing. I feel that every new project is really interesting and teaches us something new, and we get a lot of industry experience with projects in the second and third year. Our technician is really skilled and as a result we learn loads of different techniques.

It's not that expensive to live here, and there's lots to do around. There some lovely parks and there's lots of part time job opportunities whilst at uni. The transport is quite good too. There doesn't seem to be any graduate opportunities though and people only come here to go to uni.

Living in uni halls is always extremely loud and you can't really do anything about it. The walls are quite thin. The location is great, there is 24/7 staff so I feel extremely safe and they do a lot of events to make us feel at home. This is the best student hall to live in.
