The university is great l really enjoyed the environment most especially which l am delighted

The halls are beautiful

Newman is a fantastic place to study, I completed my undergraduate degree here and am now doing my PGCE. The lecturers I have had throughout my time at Newman have truly been incomparable. There is so much support available for all students to access and a fantastic ethos of giving everyone a chance to succeed. Unfortunately, what has let the university down this year has been a lot of issues with enrolment. This is not an issue I have faced prior to this year, but is an issue myself and the majority of my course has faced. This time last year I would have struggled to make a negative comment.

The lecturing quality on the courses I have studied has been imitable. The contact time with lecturers has been phenomenal through both my undergraduate degree and my postgraduate degree and I have truly felt more than just a number, they really do care!

Cofton halls are absolutely class. The price includes all bills, 24 hour security, residential advisors, free parking and free gym membership. However, the location isn’t the best for socials due to being located a drive away from town or a train station, however there are a lot of bus stops nearby with a bus timetable displayed inside the uni! Despite this, the halls are quite literally a stone throw away from lectures and the student union bar (with a couple of local pubs nearby too)!
