The facilities available for all courses are great and always updated. In terms of location, the campuses are easily accessible from anywhere in Gloucestershire, with Cheltenham and Gloucester having great travel links to most places in the UK. All of the campuses are very different, which is great for a course like mine as I get to experience all of them at some point or another. There are lots of restaurants and pubs that all support the student lifestyle and new ones are regularly opening up. I always feel safe on a night out and the student union offers a service based on volunteers called "Nightline", where you can call in and talk to somebody. Overall, I think the university has helped me grow as a person and broadened my job opportunities and experiences.

The facilities available for PGCE students are amazing; there is a dedicated section of the library full of teaching resources we can take on to placement. Even though we aren't regularly at university with placement, the staff and lecturers are still extremely supportive and want us to do well. We cover lots of content across the days we are at university, covering everything we need to feel equipped when teaching. In terms of career prospects, the university provides lots of support for finding and securing a teaching job. Overall, I'm really happy with my course so far.

I stayed in Halls during my first year of my undergraduate degree. These were right on campus, which was really convenient for me. They were also just a 5 minute walk into Cheltenham town centre which was really convenient when shopping or going out. Although the price of the halls were a little high, the convenience counted more for me. There was 24/7 security and the maintenance support team were really quick and efficient. Overall, my halls were great for the experience I wanted.
