Great university overall. Relating to my course, more support with placement travel costs would benefit many people.

Lovely Halls very friendly staff and very communal

As someone who is lucky enough to be on headingley campus, i absolutely adore the view of university. even on the dullest days, it never fails to look beautiful. I am also eternally greatful for the support we get as students, from my amazing lecturers always having time for me when i’m stressed, to the amazing student support from the academic teams. my specific course is lead by incredible lecturers, and overall i am loving my experience at Leeds Beckett University.

My course is taught in person by absolutely fantastic teachers. they all have experience in the field they teach, and i can tell they have the most passion about what they do. they always have time for our constant questions and complaints, This course is definitely harder than most, with less time to learn and complete modules, however i believe the delivery and the support we receive makes it easier for me to learn and complete modules. the lecturers always have time for us, and are incredibly dedicated and supportive.

My year spent at mill street was amazing. i was allocated a female only flat, which made me feel incredibly safe and secure. the staff were amazing, and always had time for our complaints when needed. anything we had to report (breakages, appliance repairs etc) were dealt with quite quickly and were always done to a good extent. my flat in particular lacked basic appliances, and was missing a microwave, toaster, kettle etc, which was a struggle for us as we had to purchase our own. as well as this, we didn’t have a mop or sweeping brush, which made cleaning the flat a struggle. the location was amazing, close to the city centre and only 5 minutes away from the bus station, which was incredibly convenient.
