The super green small campus helps to build the community feel of the uni. The lecturers are incredible and passionate about their subjects which is very inspiring. I have met so many amazing people. On your doorstep is Dartmoor, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican (my favourite places).

Best: the lecturers. They are amazing. I have never met so many passionate people that are the best at what they do. They talk and teach you as a person and not just a random student. They get to know you. Just talk to any of them and you will find out. Worst: on the odd occasion you might be given reading to do during your break. If your a slow reader and can’t concentrate with noise, this can be difficult. They decided to add the reading before the lecture so that you can do it before. It was a lot more helpful for me.

Student village is a great place to live and it’s nice living space and not as intimidating as halls. The majority of tutors on my course are lovely. However I have also had a tutor be transphobic which has made my self esteem feel low. I have had lots of positive experiences at Marjon but I wish there was more for lgbt+ people
