The whole university is so welcoming and has a lovely, community feel. The facilities are wonderful with fabulous choices of food to eat and clean, calming spaces to eat in. The university in partnership with the Student union runs Bucks new deal where they provide sports clubs, day trips, days out for families, entertainment and lots of other incentives all for free! It really is incredible! I enjoy my course as it is a nice mix of challenge and support and being a mature student I work in a school alongside my degree which is the best of both worlds!

My course is a mix of being in university one day a week, a working in my day job in a school and studying on the side. It’s a great course to work alongside study. The lectures are all in person with our lecturers (one day a week) and the study time is worked around weekends and evenings and SSP around my day job. We are supported with assignments and the student achievement office is a fabulous resource to use if needed with support with academic writing.

The tutors are very supportive both academically and personally through a personal tutor who you are allocated which is usually the module lead. The SLA are great and nothing is too much trouble. The library could do with more books on specific subjects.

The course is condensed into one day which is quite intense but that gives you the opportunity to earn money working whilst studying. Although this means you need to be strict with your study time. You are given tutorial time and the tutors are always available for 1:1 time if required and these can be done online if face to face isn't suitable.
