I have negative views on the uni Goldsmiths management does not care for it is students, the university is not student led. it is management have members on extortionate salaries. I have not enjoyed my time studying here

The atmosphere is very friendly, but this is probably also caused by the disorganisation of it which is not always a good thing.

I feel like I’m general the course is trying to achieve something impossible in one year. But that is of course a government issue. In terms of the university I feel like the structure of the course is a bit chaotic and the paperwork element is a mess which I find very anxiety inducing - it could be simplified if everything was just in one location, booklet, and explained in one lecture - like some guidance on how to fill out all the paperwork in the best way so we are not left half guessing/figuring it out on top of the already full on work placement agenda. The core of this issue is of course that the course is cramped into one year, but I feel like the organisation behind the paperwork could be looked at again and reformed, with some sort of communication between all subjects. I don’t really understand how the course and it’s paperwork requirements came to be structured as it is now… perhaps more contact hours would help make things less confusing, and the things done in those contact hours could be much more efficient and helpful - ie not just imitating specific primary school lessons but rather delving into how to complete said subjects coursework and more education theory.
