I love Coventry University! Being a Coventry girl, it feels right to complete my studies here. As a mature student studying part-time around a young family of three children, the flexibility the university offers has been invaluable. The online modules allow me to work at my own pace and fit my studies around family life. The tutors are incredibly supportive and understanding, always ready to offer help and guidance when needed. I was also given the opportunity to arrange my own school placements, which meant I could stay local to my children while gaining valuable experience. Overall, Coventry University has made it possible for me to pursue my goals without compromising family life, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far.

One of the best parts of my experience has been the flexibility to arrange my own school placements, allowing me to stay local to my children. The tutors are incredibly supportive and understanding, and the mentors in schools have been welcoming and encouraging. I’ve always felt that there is someone available to offer guidance whenever I’ve needed it. However, there are some challenges. Studying as a distance learner can sometimes feel isolating, especially when I’ve been the only student from my course on placement in a school. The ITAP weeks, while informative and useful, can also feel quite intense and overwhelming at times.
