The Royal Agricultural University is very supportive university. Staff encourage us for contacting them that anything concern us. This is the best thing about my university. A small university with a small number of students, which I prefer instead of bigger universities. Our lecturers are great and knowledgeable in their field. They value every student. We do quite good balance of theoretical and practical learning approaches as well. The integration of international students’ with university, especially social events could be improved. Overall I am happy to study at Rau and I would recommend prospective to study at Rau.

My academic tutor is a lovely person and he is very supportive. All the academic staff is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable.

Being at RAU is a great experience! I love that it is in a rural setting as this works perfectly for my Agriculture course, we are surrounded by farms making field trips easy a breeze. The staff compliment is absolutely friendly, polite, and eager to help, which makes a world of difference. The campus is a 15 minute walk to town and that's a plus as I do not own a vehicle. Coming from a different continent, however, I am yet to get used to the food!

My course is a taught Masters, we have blended learning whereby we do our pre and post lecture studies online and then the in-class seminars/lectures. Lecturers are available on campus when you need them, and we are given adequate notification of their schedules.

I love that the University is small so all the amenities are easily accessible to students living in the halls of residence. As I am a catered student, my room is well equipped with an en-suite, comfortable bed, work station, heater, kettle, and a good speed WIFI. It would be great though, to have a microwave available in the residence for students on catered accommodation.
