York is a great city with plenty of events going on, it is also a very safe city. The college system creates a sense of community and helps you make friends. I was surprised to find the clubs and societies are not free and some of the sports clubs are very expensive. Also some of the buildings are quite old fashioned and some of the facilities are not great.

Overall I have enjoyed being here. The course is fun but some sections are boring, as are some lecturers but some are really cool. Accommodation provides all that I desire (except double beds). As for city life, there are not enough metal bars. Facilities are good, clubs and socitieies sometimes clash with lectures so I can not go. The student union is good. There aren;t enough red -headed girls for my liking and I am unsure of job prospects.
