I love this university. The campus is well furnished and modern with good coffee bars and a restaurant. I enjoy spending time on campus and I am always able to find a good spot to get work done. Being a scholarship athlete here, I do feel as if the sporting facilities severely lack. The sports dome is a decent facility however it is often closed due to leaks in the roof or exams being held in there. I take my sport very seriously and I am aiming to play professionally so having limited access to an average facility at a university that ‘encourages athletic success’ seems almost backwards to me. With a campus this large, I am sure there is another place where exams can be held that does not impact the growth and development of elite and recreational athletes. On top of this, I believe some lectures at this university could do a far better job providing support to students. There is a lack of consistency amongst lecturers on my course when it comes to effort and engagement with students which can make it challenging for students like myself to prosper. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. despite its few flaws, I am very glad to be a student here.

It was okay. the rooms were pretty average. the communal space was often extremely messy which bothered me. There was consistent noise and commotion during the early hours of the morning most days which effected my sleep. Security should have done a better job at managing this.

The support from course staff is good.

We don’t do many hours of content but we have content to do outside of lectures
