Great place to study sue the the homely and friendly feel. The student union could be improved as it is not the most popular place on campus when it should be.

Course is taught well fully in class. More practical and lab work could be added to enhance learning. Lea tyres are very friendly.

The village type feel, having everyone is one big place was very fun and homely. The location isn’t amazing due to the distance from the centre of town.

I have enjoyed my four years study at the University of Aberdeen. From my experience, the student life and the staff support is what has stood out to me. The support from staff and welcoming events makes starting university less scary, and I could meet so many people at these events. UoA has amazing facilities, particularly the sports facilities at Aberdeen Sports Village (ASV), where they offer student memberships at a 50% discounted price. ASV have a 50m pool, gym and many more facilities which all members have access to. The only downside to UoA is the Student Union which has no bars within.

Majority of my course was taught in person which was excellent! This supported my learning and engagement with the course content. End of year exams took place in person and computers were provided to complete these exams. The lecturers were very present and very approachable, they made learning fun! Over the four years I have built connections with course mates and lecturers. The practical lessons where conducted in the Science Teaching Hub, which is a great laboratory space with various and plenty of equipment.

Student roost is private student halls, which is based on King Street and is only a 10 minute walk from the University of Aberdeen Campus grounds. The location was perfect, being close to public transport, university, grocery shops and shopping centres. At student roost the facilities were excellent, however this accommodation is very pricey compared to other options. Student roost communal space was always busy, equipped with a pool table, ping pong table and board games for use.
