Really engaging and invested staff and lecturers as well as a massive level of freedom with the societies, extracurriculars and social areas. The adjustment period I’m going into Univeristy was made extremely streamlined and simple due to these factors. My primary suggestion for improvement is to make the campus feel more vibrant and alive on the outside - many of the areas between buildings feel empty and dull and could benefit from more colour and vibrancy to keep students feeling more relaxed and comfortable as opposed to the imposing, dull structures around the campus. Maybe even associating the buildings with different colours or schemes may make it easier for students to navigate through the campus as well, especially for newer students coming in next year.

The course seems to struggle with maintaining attendance and I feel like this is primarily due to the lack of interest being provided to students through the ways the seminars are being done. More practical units usually had more people arriving to seminars and so adding more practical incentives may inspire students to attend more. Overall, though, this course is extremely flexible and provides everything the students require for their desired learning objectives and provides them with the freedom to interact and engage with the equipment, tutors and opportunities in their own time.

The University of Staffordshire is a great place to study esports, however, the wider university is disorganised and ineffective. You really have to believe in the staff for your specific course for studying here to be worth it.

The lecturers and faculty of the esports course have been absolutely phenomenal in recent years, ensuring the course is as effective and up-to-date as possible every single year. The facilities are brilliant as well and only look to be improving The only thing about the course I would change is how much support the rest of the Uni gives them, the faculty for the esports course are so passionate about enabling their students to be the best that they can be but UoS just doesn't give them enough support to make everything work smoothly.

Not massively welcoming and management of them is was pretty lacking.
