Lecturers are very understanding and generally do all they can to meet your needs and ensure that you get the best learning experience and the best chance to get good grades especially when you face adversity.

Can be a bit chaotic when it comes to timetabling, and lecturers have a clear preference of in-person, but aren't completely unreasonable and still sometimes changes some classes to online when they see fit - Q&A sessions etc.

Good location within hillhead itself - 1 mile walk to the university campus and to the nearest major supermarket - up a big hill to get back. Frequent buses makes public transport reliable - including 9u bus. Parking can be a bit scarce though - but carparks very safe - despite maybe not looking it.

I think it is located well, within the city and country. How the university has been built, with only two campuses it is really compact and gives it a good feeling of a community on campus. also makes it much easier to get between classes as you often don't need to travel far. Having the student village where all the first years can live also helps socialising during the first year and made the easier of moving away from home more comfortable and safer. Within my course, nearly all the staff have been great and all were supportive of the students, was very much an atmosphere of we'll put back what you give and all were willing to give extra support when needed. The student union was not always the best. Often times it felt like they were working against the students, especially with regards to sports.

The course overall was very interesting and very enjoyable. The staff were excellent and very supportive. The main problem with the course is there was not enough of a practical element to it and it was very theory-driven when most of the students wanted more of a practical and applied approach to it. However, it is not known how much of this was impeded by Covid-19 and lockdown restrictions or if the course was always this way but it would definitely be much improved if more applied and practical elements were added. In-person teaching was the best approach but you could see that most of the staff did try hard to adjust to online teaching and many did put in a lot of effort to make the transitions smoother, however sometimes it did not go to plan sometimes due to technological issues.

The location was good as it was very close to campus and there was a Lidl very close as well for shopping. It could have only been improved slightly with being closer to the centre of town. The main problem with the halls was that the porters came into your flat when they needed to most of the time unannounced not checking to see if people were there or what state they were in. This was slightly uncomfortable. However, overall the halls of residence felt safe especially since it was like a "village" and all the building were built together with the central building having a shop and restaurant.
