Bath is a perfect place to study, the campus is relatively small and then there’s the city not far away which is a perfect balance. Also all my lectures are helpful and make the course enjoyable, especially in beginner spanish which was a little bit daunting at first but now the lecturers have made it fun and not scary at all. I love the fact that there are so many different societies and sports you can get involved in, there is truly something for everyone.

I don’t have a lot of contact hours which is standard for my course but in those hours we do a range of things like grammar, speaking, history and more. I enjoy how the course is split, the only problem for me is having a two hour french history lecture right after two hours of spanish or right after European history, whilst i find these interesting separately, it tends to be a bit much having four hours of knowledge thrown at you. But that is something minor compared to the quality of teaching, and how nice and informative the lectures are

I love staying in Eastwood Terrace, it’s a house with 13 people so can get busy in thw kitchen but it’s a nice, it feels homely and sociable having that many flatmates. The rooms have the basics of what you need, may be on the small side but for me it was perfect. Whenever there has been a maintenance issue, we reported and they sorted it quickly. One thing that could be improved is the fact that the kitchen only has one sink, this is the main thing we end up having to wait for, there seems to always be someone there using it

Students and teachers on campus are very friendly and helpful. Directors’ of study have been so supportive and attentive. The lessons are good enough that I genuinely feel like I’m learning and improving. The campus is fantastic and I love the bus system and location near the city. The sporting facilities and clubs are also great, but it’s irritating that some sports clubs don’t consider study hours and so I’m forced to prioritise study over exercise / vice versa. I’ve also had bad experiences with the security guards who have just been rude/unhelpful. And although I’ve personally had a good experience with the well-being team, I’ve heard from multiple people about how unhelpful they can be.

Get on with my teachers so well and I love the class sizes, the pace of the year is really good and they set the right amount of work.
