The area and facilities are really good and seem to be really easy to use for everyone, so it feels very inclusive. I think there could be more student support for particular modules, as some of the tutorials for some classes there isn't really much help available. There tends to be a person walking around who is only helping you do the immediate tutorial, not really providing guidance for the module as a whole. Also I believe it would be really important for lecturers to record all classes and upload them immediately, some of our lecturers don't post them until 4-5 days after the class happened and it can get confusing to know which one we're looking for. With MS teams you can immediately upload to streamshare so I don't think this would be too much of a hassle. I also think it could be improved if they had more information available regarding the computer science building, as a lot of my friends including myself are unsure what time there are open to. From my experience if your already in there til late (around 6.30/7) most people are gone and you can leave but you can't get back in. Meaning there's a bit of unclarity about when they want us to leave?

Like I mentioned previously i think its really important all classes are recorded and shared on the same day. Me and a lot of my friends believe that sometimes the lecturers comments are very vague on assignments, and when there are a lot of people marking assignments and commenting, these can be really inconstant and leave us feeling confused. I think when it comes to commenting on canvas (for an assignment), it should be the lecturer who comments as they are the ones who know the most about the subject and know what they are looking for. Lecturers do seem to respond quickly which is good, but sometimes finding them to speak face to face is difficult outside of lecture time. If lecturers have a place/room that they normally stay in outside of these times, could that information easily be available so we know? Maybe on MS teams in their bio or something? I believe this would be super helpful, as we can speak privately if we are unconformable speaking to them inside full classes

The SU has a great mix of social space and study space, with a really nice feel to the building. Facilities are great but coffee is a bit expensive. Transport is easy, and all the buildings look beautiful (excluding DKB).

The EEECS has great facilities, the arcade machines help me unwind and the computers are top notch. Before starting, I thought the course would be a lot like the secondary school curriculum where there’s always a right and a wrong. But we use AI in our course quite heavily despite it being a very new thing, and the industry is pointing that way so it’s great to see the course adapt. The lecturers never stop uploading extra content if you’re struggling. One issue I have is there’s not much opportunity to socialise in my course. We haven’t had any group work or anything and we’re quiet during lectures.
