Consistent staff support alongside activities hosted by both students and campus teams make it easy to find friends and a sense of community. Campus is nice to travel around all year long and isn't too far away from anything you need. The major difficulty is private accommodation costs. The university does its best to help students manage but it remains a major issue for many.

A good amount of contact time with lecturers with engaging course material. However, some lectures are more engaging than others due to there being a range of teaching styles in the department. This works great for some, however, it doesn't work well for me personally.

Regular cleaning, a reliable maintenance team, in good quality halls makes these halls great value for money. However, as a result they are competitive to get into - so definitely apply early!

Best - it is in York, amazing place to be a student They could be improved by taking in less students, it’s too crowded for the facilities, markers do a poor job because they’ve got too many assignments to mark

Nice room, many people to live with which kept you from being lonely, but still a sense of privacy We never received the cleaning we we’re promised (this was during covid)
