The worst its the mapping of the rooms in the complex building. Many students get confused by the numbering of the buildings because it’s connected in different levels yet different buildings. Transportation from the train station bus station to the central office of the Uni quite challenging. Specially for international students that not staying in the Uni student accommodation. The best thing is the people there, very supportive, accommodating and helpful. From the admin officer to the supervisors. But I got little struggle though with the income officer, and the IT for the first time when I made online registration, because it was during pandemic, I have got delayed recognition by the IT team although I was fully registered. Consequently, I got referred to 3 months later.

I have got the best support in the academics need. I really feel contained, and I compared with other uni where friends of mine went for PhD, and I found I got better treatment and career support.

I would choose to stay in other city for study, specially because the transportation is really slow in the town and the Uni’s complex has confusing blocks.

best aspects are the campus and the teaching style. I think the uni great and compared to a lot of other universities, essex offers a lot of support and help. The campus is stunning and i love being there.
