Good uni and loads of great new friends to made here when you arrive. I settled in really quickly. Join some societies or sports teams and that really breaks the ice. Great course and taught by some amazing and inspirational tutors, Come to an open day and make your own mind up.

Overall, Oxford Brookes has served me really well as I was proactive throughout my time at University. I thoroughly believe that Uni is what you make of it and therefore you will have a great time wherever you go if you are in the right frame of mind.

The new building has been completed for a few years now. There should be a larger investment in computers but on a whole Brookes has come a long way since I started my degree in 2013.

The support is there if you ask for it. There is a wide range of career and upgrade services to help you with the work load while you are at Uni and for your future prospects. The Uni also has a wellbeing center that supports students with a wide range of difficulties.

The Union attempts to hold events and to engage students but there appears to be a lack of support for the Union. They need more funding to be able to hold events that students will actually be interested in. They also need to spend more time on advertising as the majority of the events go unnoticed. For the amount of students that Brookes has there should be much more emphasis placed on the union.

The city is a beautiful place to live. Oxford has a lot of culture and interesting things to do and look at. If you take the time to look up things you are interested in doing Oxford will have it.

There are a number of clubs in Oxford, these are often shared with the Oxford students and Oxford Brookes students which is nice. We also have the Oxford O2 academy so if live music is your thing then there is always something going on there which is great.

The lecturers have been supportive in helping with research and essay questions. The support is always there if you request it.
