I haven't been involved with student union yet so i cannot comment. Lecturers very supportive and topics have been engaging. For a mature student with a young family, I have found that the study is flexible so far around my family life but I know it will be more sessions involved in the 2nd and 3rd year of the course when the placement is longer. Campus is new and lovely library facilities. Downside is that the Newport campus has very little car park spaces and majority of students driving there would have to pay for parking in a nearby multistorey car park as streets around are all residential.

Course hours flexible. 2 and half days lectures so time around that to do independent study. Placement full time but no exams as course is marked on half assignments/presentations and other half on practical learning opportunity.

Excellent support from lectures. Previously studied at USW undertaking a different course and knew from experience that it was a good place to undertake my current course. Further support with parking for students.

Work well from the teaching methods, staff very patient and supportive throughout. In three days a week so provides time to work independently at home. Undertake placements throughout the course, this is highly beneficial for experience within practice.
