Coming to Hope University as a mature student and at the ripe old age of 46 i was naturally apprehensive. Having begun my course in September i have been amazed at how comfortable i have felt. I look forward to the days i spend at hope and so far the experience has been amazing. I have made some good friends in the classes and we have all become supportive of each other throughout the terms. I never thought i would end up in University, now that i am here i feel part of the university and i am proud to be here. The staff are all excellent teachers and teach in a way that's engaging and with passion. I feel glad and happy to be a student here at Hope University and i look forward to spending the next two years here. Who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

The teaching at the University is very dynamic and i feel that the classes are taught in such a way that you can see the lecturers are passionate about teaching. We have tutorial classes that end up being very personal with students feeling safe enough to tell personal stories and share them with the groups. I feel that i am learning more than i thought i would.
