A great place to study for me is the library the quiet section especially. The environment and how it feels calms one down. There is great WiFi, tables and seats that are comfortable. The only thing I would say to improve is making it stricter in the quiet section that no talking or group discussions are allowed in that section because it’s easy to get distracted they have a space for talking so people can go there. And Ano’s adding a food machine close to the library because I like to read and study.

There is direct contact with lectures it’s easy to get ahold of them. I have had one online lesson I think there should be more of those. I enjoy our seminar groups more than lectures because there is more engagement happening.

The Glenside campus is just a place you would want to be—small, cosy, lots of trees and a few people. Although it's small, it's surprisingly easy to get lost, which is quite amusing if you're not in a hurry. I found it really comfortable and easy to seep into the routine there because it's not intimidating and there was always someone to direct you to the right path.
My email inbox is always full with bits and bobs of information which are really useful to engage in events, get to know Bristol and managing in a new country.
The support I got from the day I was interviewed till date has not wavered and it's really something that reminds me that i made the right choice in choosing UWE.

The course is mainly in-class, which is really useful because social work is about making connections and interacting with diverse groups of people. The setup includes lectures integrated with service users who have lived experience, hence one can apply theoretical knowledge and shape the meaning of what they would have been taught, and it gives a realistic approach to the course.
The placement opportunities try to give students a diverse range of perspectives in the career and allow them to explore to find their field of passion, whilst glancing at the other to have more choices.

University halls
What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
The uni halls are at least a 2-minute walking distance from the University, which makes it convenient, especially if it's raining or you're having a late-night library session.
I was lucky I got nice flatmates, who made it a lot easier to make friends and also set boundaries and rules for the shared spaces.
Laundry facilities are in the Hall's, but tend to get busy, so it's all about timing it right.
