The uni is such a good place to study due to the friendliness of the people here and the amazing places on campus! There are several cool places to study on campus and spots to grab a bite to eat. The staff are also amazing and go out of their way to help you. My problems have quickly been resolved due to good student support networks. Overall, I can't think of anything to suggest for the uni to improve!

All lectures on my course have been in-person but are recorded for you to rewatch at home if needed! The course hours are quite good and ensure you have enough time to complete seminar work as well as having time for uni life. My supervisor has also been extremely helpful whilst I have been a student here. The only issues I have had are trying to contact lecturers, but the do eventually get back to you.

York is a really good place to live and it's also very pretty! It has some good places to eat, as well as places to visit on the weekends. Public transport tends to be very reliable, with both uni buses and public buses running throughout the day/night. However, York can be quite expensive and busy (especially during the Xmas Market)

My college was one of the new colleges when I first joined the uni and so it was very modern. The location for me was great as I was always on Campus East during first year (I was only a 5 minute walk away from all my course content!) There was also several events held by college for students to interact with each other and have fun. The college also had a circuit laundry room, although the washing machines were prone to breaking!! When I had problems, the college student support team were extremely helpful and were quick to resolve all my issues.

The content about the teaching is good, though seminars are too short for discussing sociology matters. I was alos a bit shocked about the state of the buildings in Heslington West; as I had a beautiful picture in mind. But overall it is a good university.

I probably won't get a job in the UK but in my home country I think that it will be quite hard to get a job.

My accommodation is very good, I live on Heslington East which is very modern and spacious, as well as tidy and a relaxing environment to study in.
