The university has good facilities and good teaching, some of the buildings are a bit dated and they could be modernised or painted to make it feel like a nicer environment to work in. The location is great and very central and there is a good bus service for those who live further out. The students union is good although communication about events can be poor. The support is there and seems easy to access although again it’s not always communicated well

The content is really engaging and relevant, there is a lot of information about placement and internships however I’ve never really accessed them as I haven’t been overall interested so haven’t looked further into the resources. The teaching quality is high and there are a lot of contact hours with tutors plus they are quite quick to response to emails too. Again some of the teaching areas are a bit dated and could do with a little refurbishment

Obviously cost of living going up doesn’t help but things can be expensive as it’s a bit of a touristy area as well. Safety is okay, there have been a few things that have been concerning but the police seem to be out a lot so there are people to go to if something is to happen. I struggled to find work in first year due to covid as well but also it seemed places weren’t hiring even into second year which was obviously a struggle for students like me who needed a job to be able to pay rent. The area doesn’t seem incredibly diverse but there are areas where there seems to be more diversity than others

Was generally very good, I stayed in during covid so it was very good being in a nice place when we had to stay in. The rooms were good and had lots of storage and there weren’t ever really any issues. If there were any problems maintenance were easy to contact and came relatively quickly. Utilities were good and so was wifi. It was a bit expensive but you got your moneys worth
