The best thing about this uni is it’s a big clean and easy to find away around campus all staff are welcoming and supportive and even student reps are there to help you if your unsure I like that they do open days for certain courses so you get an insight into it and if you feel it’s for you which is what I did and I knew straight away this was the course for me

So the course hours and days are perfect the only downside would be that 2 days I’m there for like one hour so maybe an improvement would be to move those two lectures into one day instead

The Union of Students work very well to ensure each student can be heard. Derby has top-class facilities however, from my personal experience, lecturers aren’t always the best at giving us support, especially when we struggle with pieces of software we have to use for coursework.

On-Campus classes are highly interactive, often with work to follow throughout a lecture. Laboratory sessions are essentially student-led with specialists on hand to give any guidance and support when necessary.
