Best: The best part of my uni experience was all of the valuable skills which I have developed through out my time which is great for personal development. That it is so local in Bradford literally two minutes away from the city centre and the campus has a lovely sociable feel. The staff members: they are constantly available, especially tutors, which makes the difference because they are willing to look at your work and reassure you if you feel anxious about assignments. Student Ambassador Work: there are many opportunities to work on campus which are great for earning extra cash and meeting life long friends. Worst: Sometimes lectures can be cancelled at short notice but this allows me to spend more time on my dissertation. Because we are on a busy road, their is SOMETIMES, disruption from loud cars which speed up and down the road.

My course has been taught both face to face and over zoom however, zoom was only used at the height of the pandemic. We are now face to face at every session. I am usually on campus no more than six hours a week for my course and I usually have three modules per week that I attend lectures for. Contact with lecturers has made my university experience great. As someone who suffers with anxiety, it’s nice to know that my lecturers are very supportive and understanding. They say their contact hours are 2/5 on a Monday for example but the staff always respond to my email quickly and sometimes on the same date! My course offers opportunities to get involved with the West Yorkshire police which is good if you are interested in doing so. I have found all of my lectures interesting and I have taken away something new from each of them. I love how you have core modules and then you can choose your own modules too. It is like shaping your degree to what you are interested in studying.
