This year has been tough, no doubt and my University has pulled through the desperate times such as writing to the education ministers to give out £500 to all students as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, keeping students informed about events and situations inside and outside of university life. Engaging students virtually is a big challenge but I feel that the University have done really well to be active and support students by using virtual platforms to deliver course material/contents, social media updates happening in and around the University and teaming up with the local attractions in my country such as showing virtual tours or sessions with guest speakers.

Before the pandemic lockdown, I am a full time student living at home, and there were many opportunities to take part in sport such as field hockey badminton and yoga. It's a great way to keep active and equipment hire were funded by the different clubs themselves, and rely on students to register and keep the different clubs running.

Accessibility of Student Well-being Services were the best, they respond very quickly and ensure you that you get your questions or if you are seeking advice that they refer you to the best team/person.

Kept students up-to-date with information regarding about class timetables to coursework, supporting the students with any queries or concerns they might have. Have a range of online blended learning such as the use of menti.com where you can engage in quizzes set up by the lecturer, videos and documentaries to enhance further understanding.

The students union have signed up to many platforms for undergraduate and postgraduate students for job opportunities in and out of the area with the use of emails, students like myself can keep track of what we could do. The Employability and Careers office at my University, uses Blackboard collaborate to allow students to take part in meeting guest speakers, completion of tasks for the EDGE award which we get certificates to prove the endless capabilities and skills we learn throughout these sign-ups sessions.
