Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

My university experience has been good so far. Academically, I feel as though there is room for improvement, mainly focuses upon academic support. My personal and social experience has been excellent, though i feel more could be do to help those who may be shy to get involved

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

I like how some of the modules are diverse; I’m studying different aspects that I hadn’t previously considered, allowing me to broad by views. However, some of the modules are very monotone and are taught in a way that is difficult to follow, making it harder to understand the topic

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

Excellent; the SU has every thing you need and is a good environment to either hang out, get some work done, or just sit down for a cup of tea

How good are your university's facilities?

Good, I can easily access all the materials I need for my course

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Mostly good, the area is nice and there is plenty to do, though there is a few issues surrounding safety

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

Good, there is a diverse range, so plenty to get involved in

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

In academic terms, feedback is usually on time and I know that if issues arise, for the most part, I can easily get in touch with my tutors. Personal support, however, is different. Though I have yet to have an issue where I need support in this area, if something were to happen, don’t know where I would go or who to get in contact with

Loving it! Met lots of new people, and living a different lifestyle. Definitely a good decision.
