I think one of the best aspects in terms of the university is the lecturers. I may just be lucky but i’ve received a lot of support and feedback when needed and most definitely feel welcomed when attending classes which enables me to succeed at my studies. I had an injury which meant i found it incredibly hard to attend lectures and everyone including my course-mates and lecturers were very supportive and understanding. In terms of the worst aspect, i don’t really think there’s a specific bad aspect of the university however when strikes were taking place it was often unclear if the classes were on or cancelled so sometimes i would turn up and it not be on, however thats not a massive deal it was just frustrating at times.

The course content in both aspects of my course are great. Within a year and a half at uni i feel surprisingly knowledgable about my course which is what i was hoping for. My course (and i’m sure many others) requires genuine knowledge and effort to gain the marks you want. School is far more of a memory game than actual skill hence why i enjoy my course a lot as i’m constantly gaining further understanding.

I've had so much fun being at Leeds Met. I really love my course and the city. It has a 24 hour library here which is so handy. The café in the rose bowl is a little expensive, but a nice place to socialise and my favourite place to eat lunch and relax inbetween working.
