The staff at the uni are incredibly supportive and encouraging, if there's ever an issue they will always go above and beyond to help you! The city itself is amazing I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

Very independent as it's a research degree but there are opportunities for you to develop your research training through the graduate school.

The building is in a great place but that's where the positives end. The management is very very poor we had many issues in our flat, leaking ceiling, broken window, doors that won't lock and they never fixed them promptly (if at all). Avoid!

Loved it enough here to stay for my masters! The course itself and all staff are fantastic, and Portsmouth has just the right balance of clubs/daytime activites/outdoors spaces.

My favourite thing is the great relationships with our lecturers and tutors, allowing a great support system. The small group sizes are also great.
