I have had an enjoyable experience apart from issues with my accommodation not being ready during freshers week and continued faults within the first month. Now, everything is sorted and I can worry about exams instead.

There are emails regularly detailing events you can go to.

I like the lecturers I appreciate that they engage with recent events to keep people interested and attending lectures. I do not like that the slides are not available ahead of time for Politics.

Good.

The safety of the halls itself is okay and the location is quite handy. However, the cost is ridiculously expensive for what you get. There is no social area in the flat as there are no sofas, the fridge and freezer size is unrealistic for the amount of people in one flat and unless you can agree to communally have a cutlery drawer and utensils drawer (basically share everyone's stuff) it will not work out as there is not enough space. Although, in saying that the social aspect of Murano is very nice and the staff have been really helpful. Personally, I like my flatmates and the flat so I do not mind the faults but be cautious of what you are getting and be prepared to share.

Everything is good but they need to refurbish the music practice rooms.

Yes, about a 25 minute walk to the main University building and is in walking distance of food shops and bars

Very good selection although some societies need to be a bit more organised but I understand that depends on the participants

I’ve really enjoyed uni so far, the course content is really interesting and I feel like I’m learning a lot already as well as a whole new language, the social is also great, met so many new people

Lots of employability and career talks, specialist faculty members etc. and lots of opportunities

I like that the materials all available online but some of the lecturing styles are not my favourite however that just depends on the lecturer

There’s 2 which is great so easy for everyone to find a good place

Feels relatively safe even though the area isn’t, in good condition and ok location

Very good sports, library etc and current development of new reading areas mean there will be more space

Quite a walk from uni but lots of students so you all do it together, there’s shops on the way home from uni ie Tesco’s Lidl Iceland

Very good, society or sport for everything

Haven’t used/ needed much support yet but I know it’s easy enough to find the emails/ contacts for my advisors. Tutors are very accessible because of small classes and easy contact
