You might find it weird at first, especially if you have never lived away from home. This is totally normal - stick it out and call your parents/friends from home to cheer you up. Or get to know your new friends and go for a night out or watch a film to get your mind off it. You can always invite old school friends for a weekend with you and introduce them to your new mates if you are really feeling down

Best aspects are the lecturers are supportive and ensure you have all the knowledge needed to complete assignments. In addition to this the library provide excellent services where you can book 1:1 tutorials if needed. Worst aspect was the lack of friends and how small the courses are. Making it hard to communicate and there’s no encouragement of engaging with course mates or even house mates.

Best aspect is the 1:1 support and small classes meaning you get close attention and help. The assignment support and resources provided is amazing.

The rooms are cheap. However they’re full of mould and the accommodation team don’t care much and just tell us to open our window.
