Lecture Quality Better canteen environment (cheaper food, more microwaves, condiments)

Great exposure to external lecturers which are professionals in the industry. Great insights.

The module leaders, lecturers are adopting suggestion from last year students to modify the lecture content, increase lab sessions and adjust workload of assignment . Improvement: the placement opportunities are crucial for students to gain experience in UK and should be more encouraged and make it mandatory as one of the modules Some lecturers are just reading the slides without really explaining the theory, eg. lecture on rheology is condense and difficult but not explained properly When doing group projects, peer marking within the group should have some impact on the final score, currently the peer marking only 5% of the assignment and others have to put extra effort to fill in the gap Lab sessions should schedule longer to ensure everyone had the opportunity to do hands on lab instead of rushing through every time

The course is taught mostly in class with a few online sessions, the online sessions sometimes are taught in a heavy way of straight 4-5h lecture without break as they are external lecturers from the industry but it does not enhance the quality as all the content is packed and overwhelmed. I would prefer university lecturers to review the lecture content and duration before it is given to the students Lectures could be improved by keeping the slides content updated, some of the slides are old from the year it created shown on the slide and should always add on to new regulation, changes, popular features/knowledge that is up to date related to the module

It is considered cost-effective as it provides a big table for students to study and usual single size bed, wardrobe, sink etc. However, the accommodation is located downhill that is very inconvenient to access to transportation, groceries stores and even to the university
