Stunning campus - really enjoy the fact that there's so many study spaces dotted all around the campus and outside study spaces. The student support is also great - huge variety of support available from academic to personal/wellbeing/mental health and counselling support and the teams are always happy to listen and help. All the facilities are regularly revamped/updated so you are genuinely using the best possible facilities and resources. The library is 24/7 which helps immensely for those all nighters!

The only issue with my course is the lack of standardised marking unfortunately, but apart from that the contact hours are really well balanced with independent study and even though some lectures can be 2-3 hours, they move at a really good pace.

It's overall a really great university and the school of PTR (philosophy, theology, religion) is really welcoming and the people lecturing are really great. The campus is beautiful and I have not regretted going here. The biggest problem with the uni is the student mental health support. Unfortunately, I have had a very bad experience trying to get support from the university with regard to mental health.

Although the contact hours may seem low, the quality is high. I find it really helpful that the lecturers offer one-on-one bookable slots where you can go discuss your essays or anything you have found difficult in the module. We have been offered loads of different modules which means that you can really cater the degree to your interests.

I really liked living in Mason even though it is quite expensive I thought it was good value for money and you get help if anything breaks in your room.
