I have genuinely loved every part of my experience at this university, from the support from our tutors to the lovely atmosphere on campus. I am so glad I chose to study here as I’m sure I would’ve regretted choosing any other university. The only negative I have to say is that there were a few things promised to the students on our course that were not fulfilled. The main one being class trips - we were promised a class trip every year but we have not had one since first year. All of the students on my course feel like it would’ve been a beneficial way to learn/bond so it is a shame that we did not get the chance to do so.

I love the fact that my course is quite small compared to other courses, this gives us more of a chance to bond and get to know each other better which in turn makes people feel more comfortable/confident in class. The lecturers are always there to support us and personally I have not once felt like I couldn’t go to any of my tutors for help and support. In first and second year I loved the fact that a lot of classes were mainly based around class discussions, personally I learned so much from these classes as it was really interesting to listen to people’s ideas, but it is a shame that not many classes in third year have been like this.

The rooms were slightly outdated, but overall they were perfect for student life. I never felt unsafe living in halls as security was always a high priority.

An excellent uni in a good location, i'm enjoying my time learning at Hope thanks to the quality of lectures, the great facilities and brill nights out, love it would recommend it to anyone.

Good lecturers

Aigburth, accommodation is nice although peaceful. A good area.
