Lincoln's pretty dead compared to most places - there's not all that much to do throughout the day so you end up staying in a lot. I know that means you get loads of time to do work but first year you don't get much so you're just vegging out a lot of the time. The night life is good, but could be improved - most places just seem the same so I don't really get the point, but there's quite a few little cafe's if you go up the hill. If your family comes to visit, take them up there, most people find it's the best place to take them
