I love how everyone there makes you feel as though you are part of a large family and want you to feel welcome no matter what you are doing. The only bad thing is having to travel an hour to get there

All of psychology is combined for most lectures so some of the modules are wider than I thought they would be

Newman is a very diverse university in regards to ages, abilities and cultures. The staff are all very supportive when needed and if you need information on anything it is relatively easy to find in a timely manner. I haven't had the need to use student support and I haven't really had much interaction with the student union, so I can't really say much about those but I do know they are great when support is needed as a few friends use their services. All in all I am loving my first year here at Newman and I'm looking forward to seeing how the next few years go.

I absolutely love the teaching styles of a few lecturers in particular, very interactive and fun. I've learnt many new aspects in regards to psychology which has been fascinating. There is nothing that I have to complain or give a negative review about up to this point.

Newman university is very centrally located to the main city centre, public transport in and out of the city is very good and there are multiple local amenities near by. Birmingham is a very culturally diverse area offering many opportunities for all.
