Best paet of Uni life would be meeting diverse people, being able to live in the middle of such a lovely campus and of course having supportive staff and student support. Worst part of uni life would be the weather. Saddle can't control that.

Best part of my course is the syllabus by itself. The professors are great and very friendly. Worst part of the course is that it's super jam packed with work. Would like a little breathing room to relax

What I like most is it's location. It's very accessible to most places. What I don't like about my accommodation is that it doesn't have lifts. Carrying heavy luggage up and down is a pain.

As a commuting masters student, I don’t get to experience much of ‘student life’. I love travelling to Keele uni and I think the university is set on beautiful grounds, making it always a lovely place to travel to and be at. There seem to be some good places to go for food and drink (not much fewer options for someone who is gluten intolerant like me) The main improvement I’d recommend would be in parking. It is often difficult to find a parking spot and there seem to be very limited spaces for parents and people with disabilities. Because of the limited parking it can mean that there is quite a long walk to and from campus.

The course is now all in class, though it was adapted as well as possible to online through covid. The lectures are all really approachable and down to earth, however in lectures I find some teacher styles easier to engage with than others. It’s a highly experiential course which is perfect for the course itself, but I think as a student I’d perhaps benefit from more tutor or tutor group time to really exploring learning. Placements are a requirement of the course, I felt there was very little help with the process (but also found it really hard to find any placements in my locality which is not a fault of the course itself). The course is intense and very time consuming, and even completing it part time I can find it really difficult to balance work, the course requirements, and fitting in much time for myself. I felt the additional time and costs of the course for aspects that are required outside of teaching time could have been emphasised more, as I certainly felt very underprepared.
