I really like the campus and the wide range/frequency of student events etc. The welfare provided is also quite good, but I would appreciate a follow up after having accessed their services One aspect that could be improved is the provision of exam dates - they could be release earlier than April to help us plan our revision timetable

For the most part I’m really enjoying the content and the assessment methods are evenly spread However I would appreciate the PowerPoint slides for the lectures being released earlier so I can write the notes out before each lecture

Halls is good to help make friends and it’s nice for first year to help ease you in. For the most part it’s worth the money However we have had quite a few issues with the kitchen/our bathrooms which haven’t been resolved even though we’ve reported them

The facilities and different organisations for student support are great at Reading. There are lots of different ways you can get help when you need it. The campus is so lovely and has good facilities but is close enough to the town centre so you can still get there easily. It would be good to have some of the online services streamlined a bit better- for example, having risis, blackboard, student portal, the app all on different sites makes it more complicated and easier to miss things.

There is a good amount of emphasis on placements and real life experience in the course which I really rate highly. Assessment is very varied which I think is really good and there is opportunity to look more in depth at specific areas of interest. I would say that a fair amount of content is repeated from undergrad (I did BSc Psychology at Reading) and some of the seminar prep activities are too time consuming to realistically be able to do alongside everything else that is expected of you as a master’s student.

The kitchen facilities were far too small in St Pat’s but the value for money was great!
