The university as a whole is an enjoyable experience, day to day life there helps you adapt and develop as a person. The facilities are great and staff in all departments are very helpful, I’m particularly aware of this because I found myself getting lost quite a lot & sometimes late to lectures or workshops, however the staff were so understanding. Studying is more of an independent aspect, the advice given to you is minimal which could be improved however, after a few weeks of settling in, you cone to a realisation that this is what moulds you as a character, that way you deal with challenges, and how you move forward in those moments. I personally think the tutors and course leaders should be more engaged with students to allow certain individuals to feel more comfortable. With that being said NTU is a very good university with good people, I would rate it 4 stars out of 5… nothings perfect! 😄

The course content is adaptable, and by saying that I mean over a period of time perhaps (6 weeks) people start to get a feel of of understanding from what they are learning. However, I feel like that is too long in some ways, considering that everyone has their own timing, 6 weeks for me felt uncomfortable and almost stressful at times. The online classes were very good to be honest the quality of teaching was even better at times, partly because everyone tends to be in their most comfortable environment. Me, personally studying Psychology, is a difficultly at times, not to blame anybody but I feel like content that is going to be covered should be covered in detail before people take on the course, because it’s ultimately what your signing the next year(s) of your life to. My course was very ‘scientific’ and ‘technological’, at times which are my weakest link, so at times I found myself lacking confidence. The teaching of the actual content is great, it’s just a shame that there isn’t enough knowledge for people to collect before engaging in whatever it may be.

Some really excellent lecturers/ staff who really care and provide great support. Plenty of nice study spaces to use. Lots of local student nights with deals.

Lecturers on both ends of the scale - some who are really helpful with easy to follow content that is made interesting, others not so much. A lot of contact time feels pointless (a consistent theme throughout undergrad and postgrad), with activities added in that feel like they are just there to fill contact hours and don't actually give any benefit.
