Great University, feel very welcome from day one. Sense of independence without any babying. Help is there if you need it, and there's always a community feel. Good place to spend 3 years.

Generally very good, like the MRI machines for psychology and biomedical science. Could do with some updating of their computer system(s) though.

I've not really needed support, but I know it's available to me.

We have a great student's union, who has managed to secure things like the 24/7 library, free societies, the living wage for all staff etc.

Bangor is quite a quiet place, plenty to do around it if you're outdoorsy (like climb Snowdon), but lacking a little in the public facilities. It does not yet have a cinema, but this should be coming with the opening of Pontio.

All are clubs and societies are free. Definitely recommend. We have a massive variety, and if we don't have it - set it up yourself, its easy to do.

The courses are great, the lecturers are always on hand to help. Really easy to talk to and get a hold of, and generally are happy to help. Most of the lecturers in my degree, Psychology, are researchers themselves, so the information in the courses is incredibly up to date.

Specifically whilst at University, due to the bilingualism of the area, English monolingual students can find it hard to find jobs. But if you look hard enough, you will find them. Outside of university, I have no clue - I'm a third year.

The actual University provided accommodation is great (though maybe a little expensive). Nice location, good views, quite modern. There is a new Saint Mary's accommodation site coming soon too, with shops, a cinema, a shuttle bus etc. With private housing - due to it's location so close to the sea, Bangor suffers from some mold problems in the houses. But I'm sure every student city sees some degree of mold.

It's a great place to study with lots of activities and opportunities.

Classes are very well taught since there are many well-trained professionals. The professors are always willing to assist the students with any concerns about the course. There is a great overall environment open to ideas and discussion.

Bangor is a very quiet and nice place to live. The locals are very kind and there are a lot of recreational areas and activities to do.

Lovely place, there is everything you'd need. We have a gym, a small store, security, study areas, and open space to play sports.
