The university has a great student union with events happening all the time, and membership to societies are free, I am in the Ice Skate society and we get 2 hours of free rink time at Ally Pally. My campus' library isn't the best, its a maze and there isn't a place which is actually quiet (even in the quiet area), and there aren't enough desks for evereyone it is so hard to find a spot to work on assignments.

I've had awful luck in the past few years with in person office hours (clashing with lectures and other society stuff) but the virtual hours are pretty good. The lecturers are alright at answewring emails but can take a few days to answer so you sometimes need to pester them. Lessons are long, 3 hours, but we do get at least a 15 min break during, I wish it was a little bit longer cus when your on the higher floors it can take most of that time just to walk own the stairs and back
