The lecturers are very helpful in any aspect, willing to give advice to us about our work and caring about our mental health. Some lectures are kind of boring maybe because of the particular topics that are harder to attract students to pay attention to. The only problem is students don't communicate with each other and that causes some group assignments and works to not turn out well. The common room has also been closed down due to the pandemic.

The library is a really good place, good ambient, and environment, clean and quiet.

The campus facilities at the University of Portsmouth are great, with more improvements and additions well on the way. The newest addition is a very modern gym! The location is fantastic, situated near huge parks, great for outdoor study. Even closer is the modern outlet shopping centre and harbour, with plenty of places to eat with a view. The opportunity to enjoy night life is abundant as there are many, many, many pubs and clubs to visit.

Lectures for the course cover some very interesting topics and seminars are perfect for engaging in smaller groups to discuss topics and issues. Tutors are pretty much available almost all the time, which is very handy! There are many faculty support options that cater to a variety needs. The career office attached to the university is a great place to go as they continue to support you after graduation.

The halls I stayed in were great for first year as they were conveniently in range of everything, however, value for money was not so good. The university owned halls were slightly cheaper, although not as modern (They were also close to the campus).
