If you have not already taken a book out from a library then get used to it! On a daily basis!! Make sure you familiarise yourself with things like journals and reports etc before starting a course like this, it will help to prepare you and widen your understanding. I think an open day is the only way to understand a university. Reading these reviews helps but you need to see things for yourself and explore around, come to an open day and get an insight.
