The size and design of campus is conducive to achieving great work-life balance. UEA has effectively engendered an sense of community with a rich diversity of societies, facilities and work. The only criticism is the wider location of campus, it is slightly obscure and not reasonably distanced from any major supermarket. Albeit, all of ones needs are catered for on campus.

Physiotherapy at UEA is superb! Recently gaining favourable and fair recognition from university course ranking bodies. The course has everything to offer for physio’s. You must consider this course to be a 9-5 week days. Not every working hour is scheduled, there is plenty of room for completely independent learning. Also, Wednesday afternoons are free unless on placement.

The ziggurat halls are an spectacular feat of architecture. The building is inspired by ancient Mesopotamian structures. Communal living at its finest! Prices are kept down by this. Superb value for money. The only caveat is that you will be sharing bathrooms

I have to commute a long way each day but not long enough to warrant moving to the uni, this is no fault of the uni itself obviously, but nevertheless an important aspect to mention. The teaching staff are forthcoming and very human, offering help with all enquiries, though occasionally hard to reach though I cannot complain about much at UEA, it is a lovely university.

The administrative and political aspects of the course are by far my least favourite part, these things are important to cover and I understand that, but my passion is for the body and therapies to aid in its recovery, not healthcare politics.
