The best about Manchester is the people, having such a student body really help feeling welcome and willing to study.

I believe that the couse is good, although the "general paper exam" taken about general physics in years 2 and 3 is not properly explained in my opinion.

The perks of a small town with the feeling of a big city, Manchester is the most welcoming city I have ever seen, and with so many students, the feeling of diversity in the streets is amazing. Could definitely be cleaner and safer, although those are minor concerns and do not affect the universities campuses.

The best thing about Woolton Hall (and any halls of residence in Fallowfield) is the people. Everybody is so friendly and outgoing that you will make friends in no time. Rooms are big and food is... Well, as good as in any other hall.

I’m studying astrophysics, which has meant that I’ve been able to attend lectures by Professor Brian Cox, which has been amazing! The other people on my course are just as enthusiastic as me, which is really encouraging. I feel really excited about the coming years, even though it’s required a lot of work, more so than some other degrees do in their first year, but because I love what I’m studying so much it doesn’t even really seem like work!
