Decent housing for the price. The area is nice and there's lots of opportunities for activities

Best aspects: Maintenance team on city accommodation is great. The staff on the STEM FY team are fantastic, they’re really supportive and do well at explaining the content. The city centre and train station are close by. 24/7 security who are lovely. The gym on campus is really good, the machines are great and good variety. The library is a great study space and the computers work well. The accessibility team can be pretty good for the most part, they’re patient. Worst aspects: The accomodation is good however is a high price I’ve experienced issues with my exam arrangements due to files not saving properly which is currently causing issues with my January 2025 exams.

Best aspects: Most lecturers are really good and conveying the content in an understandable way. All the lecturers are really approachable when you need to clarify something. The lecturers that use PowerPoints have really clear ones. The lecturers are really patient when you don’t understand something. Worst aspects: Some lecturers struggle with being too quiet and often the microphones didn’t work in their lectures making it hard to engage and understand. Maths 1 starts off too easy with GCSE material (eg.straight line graphs) Overall is a really great course that provides a great stepping stone between A-Level and Year 1 bachelors degree

Best aspects: 24/7 security 24/7 reception Wi-Fi is decent Response times to maintenance requests is fantastic (mine have always been within 24 hours of submitting the form) Distance to main campus (5-7 minute walk) Safe to walk in the very nearby area at night Shower works well Bike rack (indoor and outdoor) Bar Social room is good for studying Washing machine and dryer room (provided by Circuit Laundry) Worst aspects: I would say it’s a little pricey for what you get The wifi has gone down multiple times Hearing can be a fairly weak Overall very good
